Domingo (5) foi dia de Grammy 2023, bebê! A maior festa da música aconteceu, neste domingo (5), em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. A cerimônia principal teve o comediante Trevor Noah como o grande anfitrião pelo terceiro ano consecutivo.

Os vencedores começaram a ser anunciados ainda esta tarde, com uma pré-cerimônia, transmitida pelo YouTube da honraria, aquecendo o público e as superestrelas.

O grande destaque da noite foi Queen Bey, Beyoncé. A voz de “Renaissance” não levou na categoria de “Álbum do Ano” (sem palavras! de novo isso?), mas levantou quatro gramofones. Desta maneira, ela se tornou a artista mais premiada da história do Grammy. Apenas isso! Tá bom para você?

Ela ganhou nas seguintes categorias: Best Remixed Recording, por “Break My Soul”; Best Traditional R&B Performance, por “Plastic On The Sofa”; Best R&B Performance, por “Cuff It”; e Best Dance/Eletronic Album por “Renaissance act. I”.

Bey, agora com 32 Grammy’s em sua prateleira, desbancou o já falecido maestro húngaro Georg Solti, que ganhou nada menos que 31 estatuetas na honraria. 

Um dos grandes momentos da noite foi quando Madonna surgiu no palco do Grammy 2023 com suas tranças belíssimas, um chicote e toda sua história para apresentar o número musical de Sam Smith e Kim Petras.

Com um discurso potente, a rainha do pop destacou como uma personalidade forte, autêntica e transgressora pode fazer a diferença na trajetória de vida das pessoas.

É a maioral! Um dos momentos mais memoráveis desta noite foi com a atriz Viola Davis. Ela venceu um Grammy na categoria Melhor Gravação de Audiobook, Narração e Gravação, e entrou para o seleto grupo de 18 artistas que detém o título de “EGOT”.

Viola concorria com seu livro de memórias “Em Busca de Mim”, lançado em abril do ano passado. No Brasil, a obra foi publicada pela editora Best Seller.

Para conseguir o feito, Viola venceu anteriormente Emmy (Melhor Atriz de Série Dramática por “How to Get Away with Murder”, em 2015), Oscar (Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante por “Um Limite Entre Nós”, em 2017) e três Tonys (melhor atriz por participação especial em peça em 1996 e 2001 e melhor atriz principal em 2010).

As ditas “Big Four”— as quatro principais categorias de cada Grammy — foram distribuídas para nomes poucos favoritos. Em Artista Revelação, Samara Joy, que desponta como um fresco nome do jazz, levou o gramofone, desbancando a brasileira Anitta, Måneskin, Latto, Omar Apollo e mais nomes.

Em Canção do Ano, quem se deu bem foi Bonnie Raitt, com “Just Like That“; em Gravação do Ano, foi a vez de “About Damn Time“, de Lizzo; e Álbum do Ano ficou nas mãos de Harry Styles e seu projeto “Harry’s House“.
